What it’s about:

Founded in 1979, the SportScheck RUN has a rich history of annual running events hosted in 11 cities, attracting more than 40K participants each year—from total rookies running their first 5K to semi-professionals chasing their personal best on the 21K route.

After a long partnership with Under Armour it was time for a new Perspective, and a new Look. Representing both, On and Sportscheck a young and modern anti-design has been established, leaning away from a corporate attire as far as possible, without being too trendy. Making sure our design draws attention to a younger generation, also with a stronger connection to SportScheck by giving room to the color orange.

SPORTSCHECK RUN PROMOTION

The new RUN:

To kick off our promotion in style, we launched an extensive photo and video production, delivering a bold new key visual, an inspiring image film, and a collection of images that truly capture the vision of the event: They capture team spirit and community, showcasing On ambassadors and our SportScheck running expert, David Schönherr.

To ensure the vision was translated into reality, we captured the same vibe at the event through a series of reels and event photos, creating a buzz that sparked everyone’s FOMO.

The Feedback:

The numbers speak for themselves: the new partnership flourished and achieved great success, with an increase of sales by 30%, leading to fully booked venues, and a much younger crowd—average age dropping from 36 to 33!

And, while it’s tough to measure, the impact of our social media strategy was huge, resonating with our fans and drawing in a vibrant mix of young running communities and influencers. This sets the stage for even bigger collaborations in 2024! Read more about it here:
